What started as a means of documenting life as teenager in the 90’s has really developed into a passion for seeing the beauty in all things.  I’ve been photographing, Live Music, DJ Sets, and the occasional wedding since 2008. 

I shoot with a variety of film cameras from 35mm, 120, 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10. I develop and digitize all my own film. I shoot Digital with a Canon 5dmkii and an iPhone.

I love photographing people, places, events, and everything under the sun…

…and I also photograph the sun.

During the pandemic I found myself with lots of free time. Having nearly 20 years experience as a 3D Modeler and owning a 3D printer I designed and 3d printed several pinhole cameras for 35mm, 4x5, 5x7, film and Instax Mini film. I also made various adapters for using Instax film in 4x5 Film Holders.

In the beginning, I always thought about photography in terms of fractions of a second based on how sunny it was. Then I got a tripod and starting shooting long-exposure photos that made me think about a photo in seconds based on the available streetlight, neon sign or plan photo sessions around the full moon.  

Then Covid arrived and time changed again.

Days became weeks. Weeks became months. 2020 became 2021 and now 2022. Strange how time can feel both fast and slow at the same time. In the fall of 2020 I started experimenting with Solargraphy. Now I think about photos in terms of weeks, months, years.
